TFT-LCD: Sandwich structure
The structure of the LCD is just like a sandwich, which sandwiches the liquid crystal between two glass substrates,these two glass substrates are TFT Array glass and color filter.There are countless pixels arranged on the TFT Array glass,color filters are an important source of screen color,the liquid crystal is sandwiched between TFT Array and color filter.
When the voltage is at TFT (transistor), the liquid crystal turns,then the light passes through the liquid crystal and creates a pixel on the panel,this light source is provided by the backlight module.
At this time, the color filter gives each pixel a specific color.Combining each pixel of different colors, the final image is the front of the panel.
